Terms of use and legal notice
ASKGIB is a personal publication. It sells nothing and has no accounts. These are the few rules that apply when you read it or write on it.
Who publishes this site
ASKGIB is written and published by Gibril Bachouchi, as an individual. He is the editor of everything on it. Write to askgib@kuzog.com; the other ways to reach him are on the contact page.
Who hosts it
The site runs on Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States (vercel.com). Comments, votes and submissions are stored with Supabase. The privacy page says what is stored and why.
The articles
The articles, figures and translations are © Gibril Bachouchi. You may quote short passages if you name the author and link to the article. Ask before you republish a whole article or a figure. Machines may read the site under the rules in robots.txt and on the developers page.
The articles are one person's opinions and research. They are not financial, medical, legal or tax advice. Sources are listed at the bottom of each article so you can check them. If you find a mistake, say so under the article; corrections are welcome.
What you write here
Comments, topic requests and Beer Index submissions stay yours. By sending them you allow the site to store them and show them. Comments and topic requests are public. You post under an automatic name such as “Green Elephant 42”; there is no account.
Do not post:
- spam, advertising or automated messages;
- threats, harassment or hate against a person or a group;
- private information about someone else;
- anything that is illegal, or that you do not have the right to share.
Gib may remove any comment or request, and the site blocks addresses that flood it. The limits are on the privacy page. To ask for something of yours to be removed, write to askgib@kuzog.com or use the contact page.
Links and availability
Articles link to other sites. Gib does not control them and is not responsible for what they publish. The site is offered as it is, free of charge, with no promise that it is always online or free of errors.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada. If a part of them cannot apply where you live, the rest still does.
Changes
These terms can change. The date at the top of this page says when they last did. Using the site after a change means you accept the new version.
